What is MineX? +

MineX is the first Minecraft MMORPG where players can trade items for real money. Every sword, armor, and treasure you find is registered on the Solana blockchain, giving you true ownership that can be sold to other players for real cash. Think of it as Minecraft meets a real economy - your time and skill have actual value.

How do I start playing MineX? +

You have two options:

  • Full Game: Connect to play.minex.gg using Minecraft Java Edition
  • Browser Demo: Try instantly at web.minex.gg - no download needed

A Solana wallet is automatically created for you when you join - no crypto knowledge needed.

Do I need crypto knowledge to play? +

No! MineX is designed for Minecraft players, not crypto experts. Your wallet is created automatically when you first join. Gas fees are covered by us. You manage everything from inside the game - no browser extensions, no seed phrases to remember. Just play and earn.

How do I sell items for real money? +

Items can be traded directly with other players in-game or listed on the MineX Scanner marketplace. When you sell, you keep 95% of the sale price. Payments are in USDC (a stablecoin equal to USD) which can be converted to your local currency through exchanges or off-ramp services.

Is MineX safe? Will I get banned from Minecraft? +

MineX is a standalone Minecraft server - you cannot get banned from official Minecraft for playing on third-party servers. Our blockchain integration is built to prevent scams, duplication, and fraud. Every transaction is verified on-chain, and our anti-duplication system checks every 5-15 minutes. In over a month of testing, we've had zero successful exploits.

What blockchain does MineX use? +

MineX is built on Solana, chosen for:

  • Speed: 400ms transaction finality
  • Cost: Fractions of a cent per transaction
  • Environment: Proof-of-Stake is eco-friendly
  • Scale: Can handle thousands of items minting simultaneously

Items are minted as compressed NFTs (cNFTs) for maximum efficiency.

MineX was built by a team with 10+ years of Minecraft server development experience. Our founder Yeray's previous project Earncraft reached $95M market cap. What are AI NPCs in MineX? +

MineX features AI-powered NPCs that are unlike any you've seen in games:

  • They remember your name and past interactions
  • They have their own goals and can trade with each other
  • They have real Solana wallets and can accumulate wealth
  • Some NPCs form alliances, while others might ask you questions

They're not scripted - they learn and evolve based on gameplay.

What's the MineX lore and story? +

MineX is set in a medieval fantasy universe controlled by the Empire of Time - a theocracy sustained by dark secrets. You begin as a prisoner destined for sacrifice who unexpectedly survives and gains abilities.
